Once you have accepted our quotation, and the project has been accepted by the Planning
Authority and Building Regulations, Horleys (Yorkshire) Ltd will agree a mutually
acceptable date to start work on the project.
So far as is practical, we always endeavour to:
Work continuously on a job, once started until it is finished.
Cause minimum disruption to your home while we work in and around it.
Remove waste material promptly from your home - this may involve placement of a skip
on or at the edge of your property.
Work accurately to the plans and any agreed time scale.
Work to our own high standards, which have resulted in numerous customer testimonials.
Work to satisfy the building inspector so that the necessary certificates are issued
on completion of work.
Satisfy customers' expectations in terms of electrical/plumbing/kitchen fittings
etc. at the finishing stage, to the standards agreed in the quotation.
Coordinating the Project
Your loft conversion or house extension will, at the appropriate time, involve some
of the following tradesmen; bricklayer, joiner, plasterer, plumber, electrician.
With many years of experience, Steve Horley is skilled in assessing the time scale
of the project in hand so that he can call in a tradesman just when he is needed,
so that the job continues to run smoothly. He works with a tried and trusted team
who have delivered excellent work over several years.
What if I Want to Make Some Changes?
Quite often, during an extensive alteration or a loft conversion, the customer might
want to change what is planned. This is often possible within the existing building
regulations, or can be negotiated amicably with the building inspector.
As the job progresses, we might suggest changes that we think would improve the finished
job, based on our experience.
If any changes to plan are likely to incur extra cost, this can be quoted prior to
the work.
